Could you be a Trustee?
This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in an engaging, decision making role in a charity that works across 11 Local Authorities! We are an independent charity working in partnership with Chester Diocese and Chester Cathedral. We are also part of the Church Urban Fund Together Network. Transforming Lives Together (TLT) works with a diverse range of churches to tackle poverty, loneliness and social inequality. We support churches to run projects including Places of Welcome (combatting social isolation and building community) and Filling the Gap (addressing school holiday hunger with activities and meals) and provide other support with church community engagement.
What will I do as a Trustee? Trustees oversee the overall management and administration of the charity. They also ensure that TLT has a clear strategy and that our work and goals are in line with our vision. They support and encourage our staff in their work and enable TLT to grow and thrive. Trustees attend about 6 board meetings a year, and may be involved in any aspect of our work across the diocese as their time and skills allow. Experience in fundraising, financial management, marketing, PR, communication or training provision would be particularly helpful.
