What our 'Meals & More' churches achieved in 2023
The churches...delivered the astounding total of almost 9,000 meals last year!
We've been collecting feedback from the 5 Filling the Gap churches we supported in 2023 with the help of Brakes 'Meals & More' funding. Wow - what a difference they are making to their communities! Over Christmas they provided meals, food parcels, companionship and activities to 100s of families. One family experienced a very difficult event in December and said "we have been in a state of devastation since. This day has been the first time we have smiled, thank you for doing this for us”. The churches between them delivered the astounding total of almost 9,000 meals last year! There are another 11 Filling the Gap churches doing similar work so the number of families given hope through this initiative is breath-taking.
