Growing Good Toolkit

A recent evaluation shows the many benefits of using this course!

Church Urban Fund has released a report on the impact of the Growing Good Toolkit on churches that have used it over the last two years.

You can find the full report and stories from churches that have used the Toolkit here: https://growing-good.org.uk/evaluation-2024

The evaluation finds that the Toolkit is helping churches to grow in:

  • Knowledge about their local community
  • Confidence in local mission
  • Hospitality and relationships with individuals and institutions

The Growing Good Toolkit has helped churches to reflect, celebrate, and take further steps to build community relationships that are stepping stones to spiritual and numerical growth.

The report includes testimonies from churches who have used these resources to:

  • be more visible and actively present in thr community,
  • adapt their spacrs or worship to be more welcoming and inclusive,
  • plan more confidently for mission,
  • start new projects to serve their communities.

As one church leader told us: The Toolkit gave those who did it greater confidence… to be salt and light and make a difference in the community.”

Since launching in October 2021, 1,700 people from churches of every denomination across England and beyond have accessed the Toolkit. Church Urban Fund is committed to continuing to develop and promote the Toolkit as we equip and resource churches to love their neighbours. We love to work in partnership to share our resources and tools – please do get in touch if you would like to a conversations about how we can work together. Contact polly.taylor@cuf.org.uk. Please let us know at TLT if you decide to run the course.
