Ruth Bull is appointed TLT's Community Missioner

Transforming Lives Together is pleased to announce that Ruth Bull has been appointed as the lead Community Missioner, following three years as Assistant Community Missioner alongside Wendy Robertson. A familiar face across the Diocese of Chester, Ruth is also a lay reader at St Mark’s Bredbury, where her husband serves as vicar. She is actively involved in the life of the diocese, contributing to the Everyday Faith team, Diocesan Synod, and Diocesan Strategy team.

Ruth brings a deep passion for sharing stories of how God is at work in our communities, and she finds great joy in seeing people flourish as they are welcomed, embraced, and empowered. At this time of transition and opportunity for Transforming Lives Together, Ruth is excited to continue working in partnership with Chester Cathedral, the Diocese of Chester, the Church Urban Fund, and other faith and secular organisations, united in a shared mission to bring hope, compassion, and transformation. Ruth says she “is thankful for the unwavering support of TLT’s trustees and the many volunteers whose faithful energy and care help shine the light and love of Christ to all they encounter”.

The Board of Trustees are delighted that Ruth is taking up this new role, with the experience and passion she brings, as Ruth leads and builds upon TLT’s growing work in church and people-led social action, responding to poverty in all its forms, and seeing individuals and communities thrive.
