Sign up to a TLT seminar on Human Trafficking led by the Red Cross
The Red Cross have kindly agreed with Transforming Lives Together to deliver a 90 minute seminar on human trafficking for churches and organisations across the Diocese of Chester.
The session aims to increase understanding of the issue, where and when we might encounter it and how best to respond. The event will be held online on Zoom at two different times:
Evening session = Tuesday 6th December 7.30 - 9.00pm
Daytime session = Tuesday 13th December 10.30 - 12.00 noon
The session will include the following:
* Legal definitions, terminology and identification in anti-human trafficking , including a brief history
* Common forms of trafficking prevalent in the UK
* Statutory support available and the process including the National Referral Mechanism
* Trafficking indicators, spotting the signs, and how to respond and report
